What once was the premier’s residence is now renovated and repurposed as the Social Enterprise Hub, (http://sehub.tw/) a place where social enterprises and young entrepreneurs congregate. It is a co-working space for social enterprises to station themselves, integrate resources, and be offered consultant services.
Our City Love trains people with disabilities to provide user-friendly information about handicap accessible restaurants through ICT. In Taiwan, their service is offered in 6 major cities and has certified over 2,000 restaurants. Their model has been successfully adapted in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Based on the needs of its members, the HUCC looks for safe, healthy, and environmentally-friendly produces and necessities to support agriculture. It also assists the minority of improving their living standards via joint purchase and boycott. Three cooperatives will also be invited to discuss with us.

The Taipei SE Square (http://www.taipeise.tw/) is the first building to benefit disability employment in Asia. It is equipped with disability-free facilities and remote-control management system, which can supervise the disabled to prevent them from falling especially when the fire emergency occurs. It creates a more-friendly working environment for the disabled.
Organic Yam is a sheltered workshop jointly established by Organic Yam and Yu-Cheng Social Welfare Association for people with disabilities to develop skills and independence by baking, cooking, and selling organic foods.
Agricultural social enterprises occupy the large portion of SEs in Taiwan. We will introduce two SEs – Taiwan Bluemagpie Tea that attempts to reserve the ecology and water resources; Love 2 Fruit (www.facebook.com/love2fruit) that aims to upgrade agriculture and retrieve traditional culture of agricultural villages in Taiwan. You will have chance to experience unique tea culture and enjoy nice produces in Taiwan.
The CAN renovated a long-abandoned house into a new space for human and art performance. It issues “the Can Magazine’ by writing, recording and videotaping the plain stories of some small and ordinary characters. It also leads people to do childcare for the minority, social education, community renovation and development, environmental protection, and social work.
