I am passionate about developing the community and building a sustainable environment through social entrepreneurship. During my time as a student at Universiti Utara Malaysia, I was actively involved in many social entrepreneurial activities. I dedicated most of my time with numerous social projects under SIFE. Throughout that period, I founded a social project called Back2Bag, a project that enables the disabled community to earn extra income by crocheting and selling bags made from disposed plastic bags. In 2013, I was selected to represent Malaysia in the Enactus World Cup in Cancun, Mexico. Many valuable lessons were gained from that trip, which prompted me to co-founded my very own social enterprise, Foodabox, when I was still studying. Foodabox was established in 2014 and the initial idea was to address the high usage of polystyrene food boxes on my campus. As of today, Foodabox has expanded to 2 more institutions covering the northern and central region of Peninsular Malaysia.
